Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of LeakRank ("LeakRank", "we", "us"), a security scanning tool available at leakrank.com. By using the site or purchasing a report, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

LeakRank inspects a web application you provide by URL and returns a security score and findings. The free scan returns a summary score and the affected areas. The paid one-time report ($19) returns detailed findings, exact locations, copy-paste fixes, a re-scan, and an embeddable badge. Scans are automated and best-effort.

2. Authorized use only

You may submit only websites and applications that you own or are explicitly authorized to test. You must not use LeakRank to scan, probe, or attack any system without permission. You are solely responsible for confirming you have the right to scan a target. Misuse may violate computer-misuse laws and will result in termination of access.

3. No security guarantee

LeakRank helps you find common misconfigurations and exposures. It does not find every vulnerability and does not make your application secure. Findings are provided "as is" for informational purposes. You remain responsible for the security of your application. LeakRank is not a substitute for a professional security audit.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record and reseller. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms. Prices are shown at checkout and may change over time.

5. Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

6. Data accessed during a scan

To demonstrate exposure, LeakRank may read data that your application makes publicly accessible. We display only masked samples and do not retain the underlying data we access. See our Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeakRank and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the service or your reliance on its findings. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Intellectual property

The LeakRank name, brand, and site content are owned by us. Your report is provided for your own use.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
